One of the highlights of the campaign and Jeff Luscott was our appointed judge. Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder J.W. was 2nd in Open Dog from a total of 18. S. ZiZis Journey topped Minor Puppy Bitch and later went on to win BEST PUPPY IN BREED. Johns S. Love Rescue Me was 4th in Limit Bitch and S. The Kiss J.W. was 4th in Open Bitch.

At the Northern John Lockey judged the males and awarded 1st in Minor Puppy Dog and eventual BPD to Jacqui with S. The Journey whilst S. Journey To The Line was 3rd. S. Im Yours J.W. WJW10 won Special Open Fawn. Tony Schaanning-Ling judged the bitches and awarded 1st in Minor Puppy to S. Journey To Melody At Samdice whilst litter sister ZiZis Journey was 2nd. S. Angel Of Harlem J.W. was 5th in Limit whilst S. Love Rescue Me was unplaced. S. The Kiss J.W. was 4th in Open.

Sue Garner judged the breed at Manchester and awarded S. Journey To The Line 1st in Puppy Dog with litter brother S. The Journey 2nd. Hamilton later went on to claim Reserve Best Dog! S. Journey To Melody At Samdice was 2nd in Puppy Bitch.

Breed judge Kris Kingsley judged the breed and awarded S. Journey To The Line 1st in Puppy Dog and Reserve Best Dog and Ch. S. Koochie Ryder J.W. 1st in Open Dog and later BOB. S. ZiZis Journey made her debut and won 1st in Puppy Bitch and eventual BPIB and thus qualifying her for Crufts at her first attempt. S. Journey To Melody At Samdice was 2nd. Later in the Group Peter Radley awarded Ryder Working Group 3.

Peter King officiated in Edinburgh and we were delighted when he awarded Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder J.W. first in Open Dog and eventually the Challenge Certificate. This is his seventh. Not so good with the girls, both Selmalda Angel Of Harlem J.W. and Selmalda The Kiss J.W. were third in their respective Yearling and Open classes.

We chose only to take Ryder along to DOTY where breed judge Sue Searle officiated. Delighted as she awarded him first in Open Dog and eventually Best Dog. What an honour. John had Selmalda Love Rescue Me with him and she won her Special Open Brindle class under Olivia Bates.

At this Clubs 29th Championship Show Lesley Collet judged the dogs and awarded Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder J.W. 1st in Open Dog and eventually the RCC. Gary Hooker judged the bitches and whilst we had chosen not to enter our own our good friend John Agnew had Peach out again after a short break. Delighted that Selmalda Love Rescue Me won her Special Open Brindle class and that she was shortlisted down to the last four in contention for the CC.

Over to Belfast for the weekend where first timer Hans Van Der berg awarded the BIG Green Cards for the first time. He awarded our Danes the following; Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder J.W. - 1st Open Dog & RCC Selmalda Angel Of Harlem J.W. - 3rd Limit Bitch Selmalda The Kiss J.W. - 2nd Open Bitch Thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with our Irish friends and being able to stay and watch all of the three groups judged that day.

At Darlington All Rounder Barrie Croft judged the breed. He awarded our Danes the following; Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder J.W. - Open Dog 4th Selmalda Angel Of Harlem J.W. - Yearling Bitch - 2nd Delighted that Ryder gained a very respectable 4th place in the Eukanuba Champion Stakes (All Breeds) under Meg Purnell-Carpenter.

What a SHOW! Janet Gunn officiated and awarded Ch. S. Koochie Ryder JW 1st in Open and eventually the RCC, his 11th. Our young Brindle S. Angel Of Harlem JW duly topped Yearling and S. The Kiss JW was 3rd in Limit. In the challenge Harlem was awarded her first CC - EXCELLENT! Later in the day we took Ryder in the Eukanuba Champion Stakes under Meriel Hathaway and were delighted when he won the days best. Returning on the Sunday he had to compete against the Saluki and the Gordon Setter and eventually took the Runner Up position behind the beautiful Hound. What a SHOW!

What a super weekend at Crick, lovely weather and great company. Monica Stavenborn of the famous Kingsize Danes judged the males and awarded our Ch. S. Koochie Ryder JW 1st in Open Dog, DCC (his fifth) and RBIS. S. Angel Of harlem JW was awarded 1st in her Yearling class, a great class of 12, from judge Patsy Battersby. Go Ryder.

On Monday 23rd June our beautiful Ola, Ch. S. Rock Ola Baby J.W., gave birth to four healthy puppies, two boys and two girls. Ola really enjoys her maternal duties and has been exceptional. Lesley and I are indebted to Teija (Edendanes) who provided us with the opportunity to use her beloved Higgins, Int. & Fin. Swe. Nor. MVA Ch. Diplomatics Val Kilmer. Our sincere thanks also to Vivianne for her ongoing help and support. Exciting times ahead. Exciting times ahead.
